Quilted Heat Shields

Thermal Control Products' Quilted Heat Shields offer excellent thermal protection for all forms of racing. These heat shields were designed to be installed externally, directly onto the exhaust system to reduce floor and cockpit temperatures. Think of our quilted heat shields as an 'oven-mitt' for your race car's exhaust system. Constructed of multiple layers of a high-temperature fabric and ceramic non-woven insulation. Stainless steel mesh is added to create a stand-off and to extend the life of the heat shield. Grommets are strategically located around the perimeter of the shield to assist in the installation process. Our quilted heat shields can be custom manufactured to your dimensions.

Metal Heat Shields

The stainless steel "embossed honeycomb" heat shield has an outstanding oval track and road course performance record. Compromised of two layers of a lightweight embossed 309 stainless steel, with a sandwiched layer of insulating, ceramic non-woven. Grommets are strategically placed around the perimeter of the shield for ease of installation. The profile of this heat shield makes it an excellent solution for low-clearance areas. Our stainless steel heat shields can be manufactured to your dimensions.
